Derby 106 Lamination Glue 15kg
Product description
Derby 106 Laminate Glue is an adhesive containing solvent-based polychloroprene.
Application Areas
For bonding decorative plastic laminates to surfaces such as mdf, chipboard and metal. Coating of kitchen and bathroom furniture. Derby 106 Laminate Glue can be used in laminating machines and is suitable for post-forming applications. It is also used as a general purpose gun type contact adhesive in the automotive industry.
Application
It is applied with a spray gun or lamination machine. Adhesive and material temperature should not be below 18°C. Surfaces must be dry, clean, dust-free and oil-free. Apply the adhesive thinly and evenly to the surfaces to be bonded with a spray gun. For spray applications, a 1.50 mm nozzle tip 4-5 bar pressure is recommended. 1.00-1.50 bar pressure is sufficient when working with a pressure vessel. When working with laminators, the viscosity of the adhesive must be adjusted from time to time. After a short drying time, the bonding process should be carried out by applying strong pressure. For post-forming applications, adhesive applied surfaces must be dried. After the drying time, the parts are heated to 80 – 90°C and the parts are combined and pressed within the contact time of the adhesive. This process must be completed the first time.
